BAS Electrical Installations has successfully executed complex electrical projects across various industries, showcasing our expertise in system integration, compliance, and project management.

GH Power – Hydrogen Reactor Plant

Engineered and installed a 600V distribution system to power a hydrogen reactor plant, ensuring compliance with ESA codes and stringent health and safety standards. Our team efficiently managed procurement to meet tight deadlines, adapting to customer modifications as needed. The project included the integration of a 350kW backup generator, a transfer switch, and full facility lighting, power, and emergency signage. Comprehensive design documentation, including as-built records, was provided upon completion.

Toronto Police Headquarters – BAS & HVAC Upgrade

Executed a full electrical installation and upgrade of the Building Automation System (BAS) in an active police headquarters, ensuring a seamless transition while maintaining uninterrupted 24/7 operations. The project also involved upgrading 100HP fan motors to induction-rated motors with variable frequency drives.

Close collaboration with City of Toronto Project Managers and Building Operations staff ensured a smooth transition with minimal disruption to critical services.

Maplehurst Correctional Centre – BAS Wiring & Network Installation

Our team successfully completed the wiring and installation for a comprehensive BAS upgrade. The project involved replacing legacy MSTP-based controllers with Canadian-manufactured IP-based Distech controllers. As part of the scope, we built a new LAN network infrastructure by installing network switches and running fiber optic cabling across the rooftop in rigid conduit. This ensured a secure, durable, and high-performance backbone for the upgraded system.
